Film open rough

Elliott,Matt,Rob rough cut from cmdiploma on Vimeo.

This is the rough cut for my groups film opening. (Group 4)
Using the feedback we got in class i think people like the odd "artistic" shots dotted around our opening for example the lit cigarette with the defined line of smoke rising up from it. As shown here...

I think people didn't like how often we used the fish eye in our opening and this may be something we later change.
We still have yet to do our sound track to the opening but we have a few ideas floating around, Also we still need to input our titles.

This is a picture i did in tutorial.
It represents the shot in the car with the fish eye.
I decided to draw this because i think the shot came out rely well.

Fridays Filming

On Friday our group began filming in the morning at Max's house, after a brief spell at Coleridge to collect the camera and other equipment.
All in all i think the filming was a resounding success.
We spent the morning getting all the shots we needed in and around the car, also using the fish eye lens witch produced an awesome in car shot of the three characters inside.
We then took a brake wile Max rode off to Long Road to get the Dolly and then continued to shoot, getting all our indoor shots and shots that involved the Dolly.
We were back at Coleridge in time to upload our footage and watch it though.

Editing is yet to commence.

Font Board

This is the font sample me and Elliott gathered. We picked these fonts because we thought they where all individual but still close to a normal easy to reed font, witch we toughed would be important.

Moodboard

This is the mood board me and Elliott designed for an action film. we picked these pictures because they all have an action feel to them because they are all full of motion and show movement with the guns and explosions.
